According toCNBC, Powell was fully vaccinated and was being treated at Walter Reed National Medical Center.
However, he did suffer from multiple myeloma, a blood cancer that weakens the immune system.
“Yup, the whole birther movement was racist,” Powell wrote.
“That’s what the 99% believe.
BuzzFeed reported that Powell only told them, “I have no further comment.
I am not denying it.”
“We have a Constitution.
And we have to follow that Constitution.
And the president has drifted away from it,” Powell said, adding that Trump also constantly lies.
“That’s why I can no longer call myself a fellow Republican,” he said.
“I’m not a fellow of anything right now.
I’m just a citizen who has voted Republican, voted Democrat throughout my entire career.
And right now I’m just watching my country and not concerned with parties.”
