CNN president Jeff Zuckerresigned from his position on February 2, 2022, leaving the media world in shock.
Zucker was also one of the founders of the streaming service Hulu, according to hisCNN bio.
In his memo, Zucker explained that a relationship with a female co-worker led to his decision to resign.
“I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years.
I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t.
As a result, I am resigning today.”
“Recently, our relationship changed during Covid.
I regret that we didn’t disclose it at the right time.
“We thank Jeff for his contributions over the past 9 years.
We will be announcing an interim leadership plan shortly.
