What happened to Eric and Quinn, and why do they no longer have a storyline?
We never saw them actually fall in love.

WhenQuinnthought it was over with her husband, she continued the affair with Carter, but they told nobody.
Since he wanted his wife’s needs to be met, he sanctioned her affair with Carter.
Quinn was forced to tell them that Eric wanted her and Carter to sleep together.
He asked her to run away with him, but she ultimately chose Eric and their marriage.
That’s when Eric’s problem was suddenly a problem no more.
