PerBrides, Bindi met her future husband Chandler Powell at the Australian Zoo in 2013.
Still, their wedding was a much simpler affair than they anticipated, due to COVID-19.
In 2021, Bindi spoke toPage Sixabout how the pandemic had been extremely difficult for her family.
“For us it’s been difficult [because] Australia Zoo has over a thousand animals.
We literally can’t ever close.”
In fact, they made sure to include Bindi’s late Dad in the festivities.
“Her favorite part of the day is when we go on our family walks through the@australiazoogardens.
Her smile is sunshine!”
Suffice it to say, Steve’s memory is alive and well.
