Since 2013, themakeupartist has been growing her audience on YouTube.
Thompson was mostly known for her comprehensive makeup product reviews and bubbly personality.
“Mel sadly passed away yesterday,” Thompson’s husband wrote in theInstagrampost.
“It’s really hard to just choose 10 photos.
We lost a beautiful person.
I just wanted to show the smiles she brought.
It’s great to see how loved she was.
And she loved all you right back.
I’ll continue to love her and miss her forever.”
As noted byPeople, Thompson is survived by her four children and husband.
“She was such a pillar for our family,” her husband continued in the Instagram post.
At this point, her husband has yet to announce her cause of death.
“I’m grateful that I was able to know her in this life.
I can’t stop crying, we lost a good one too soon.
Sending my heart to her family and friends during this difficult time.”
