Cheslie Kryst has died at the age of 30, according toThe Hollywood Reporter.
The formerMiss USAand “Extra” correspondent, died by suicide, the New York Police Department confirmed.
Her body was found near the Orion Condominium building in Manhattan, whereshe resided on the 9th floor.
The former beauty queen’s family released a statement about her death.
“Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength.
She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined.
They’ve asked for privacy after Kryst’s death.
“Extra” also released a statement about the correspondent’s death.
“Our hearts are broken.
Our deepest condolences to all her family and friends.”
