23-year-old Skilyr Hicks has died.
Hicks was only 14 when she tried out for the season 8 auditions of"AGT"in 2013.
During her broadcasted audition, the singer/ songwriter revealed that her father had died a few years back.
“After his funeral, I wrote my first song … “Had a great time playing for the brain injury awareness walk today!
Adding, “My prayers go out to everyone who has suffered a brain injury.
Unfortunately, the young musician appeared to hit a rough patch in 2017.
At 16, she was arrested for domestic violence for allegedly attacking her older sister, and grandmother.
Two years later, the musician was arrested again for underage drinking.
“She will live on through her music,” stated Jodi (viaTMZ).
