TMZreports that “16 and Pregnant” star Jordan Cashmyer has sadly passed away.
The reality star and mother was just 26 years-old.
Unfortunately, her story has ended on a very sad note.
The young mother even attempted suicide in 2014.
After trying to overdose, I was taken to a hospital and have been in there since then."
Cashmyer later entered a drug rehab facility in 2016.
In the wake of Jordan’s passing, her mother Jessica posted a statement toFacebook.
“Last night I received a call no parent ever wants,” she began the post.
“My oldest beloved daughter, Jordan has passed away, she was only 26 years old.
Our hearts are truly broken.
No parent should ever have to go through losing a child, EVER.”
Jessica ended her post by asking for prayers and privacy during this difficult time.
Jordan passed away in Maryland but no cause of death has yet been revealed, perVariety.
