There was a time when South CarolinaSenator Lindsey Grahamwarned Americans against Donald Trump.
That was in 2015 and 2016, when both Trump and Graham were vying for the Republican presidential nomination.
“If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed…and we will deserve it.”
In the end, the GOP did nominate Trump, and he won in 2016.
But he lost the party the presidency, the House of Representatives, and the Senate by 2020.
Now, Graham has a warning for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell regarding Trump.
“Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day.”
“I liked Senator McConnell,” Graham said.
