The 28th annual SAG Awards are almost upon us!
The ceremony will be broadcast on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m.
According to the outlet, Rosario Dawson and Vanessa Hudgens announced the nominees via Instagram Live in January 2022.
Megahit TV shows"Succession"and “Ted Lasso” currently lead the charge with five nominations each.
For her part, SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher is thrilled that the show can happen properly this year.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, both women costarred in the 2016 film “Collateral Beauty.”
Previous notable recipients include Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Lily Tomlin.
“Dame Helen Mirren is quite simply a brilliant and luminous talent,” SAG-AFTRA presidentFran Dreschersaid of actress.
“I am honored to have been chosen to receive the SAG Life Achievement Award.
And then, of course, there’s a slight sting in the tail as well… Hopefully, we haven’t seen the last of the esteemed actor yet.
