Since May,Princess Charlene has been in South Africa, but now, she has finally returned home.
“I came to South Africa to oversee some foundation projects,” she toldPeoplein October.
“I was unwell at the time.
I had an infection which was addressed immediately.
Unfortunately, it grounded me for some months here in South Africa.”
The infection was an ear, nose, and throat infection, which required corrective surgeries.
Born as Charlene Lynette Wittstock, she married H.S.H.
Charlene also showed up with a new dog: a male Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy named Khan!
Just a week ago, the royal shared toInstagramthat the family had lost one of their chihuahuas.
Before her return, Prince Albert toldPeople, “I’m looking forward to Charlene being back.
When one of the team members isn’t there, it’s a lot more difficult.”
