It’s no secret thatformer president Donald Trumphas issues with the news media.
However, things especially heated up between Trump and the media duringthe COVID-19 pandemic(viaBusiness Insider).
Twitter, especially, had a lot to say about the conversation.
The conversation was relatively civil until Inskeep began asking questions about the election.
As Inskeep kept asking questions about the election, Trump grew more and more agitated (viaThe Guardian).
He would eventually hang up on Inskeep before the NPR reporter could finish the interview.
“I want to ask about a court hearing yesterday on Jan. 6 … Twitter had Inskeep’s back.
Another reminder of why I’m happy and proud to be an NPR supporter.
