TLC’s show “1000-lb Sisters” has taken the world by storm.

What draws fans in is the endearing personalities of the sisters, Amy and Tammy Slaton.
The show follows the girls as they attempt to lose weight.
Tammy has struggled to lose weight while her sister has been more successful in her attempt.
Tammy shared that she is not jealous of her sister’s success in a now deleted TikTok post.
“Why do y’all think that I’m jealous of Amy?”
she added, “Why?
There’s nothing to be jealous of.
She’s married, she lost weight.
I’m going to get my surgery.
I’m going to lose weight in my time.”
She was diagnosed with COVID-19 which led to her being hospitalized with complications (viaPeople).
Due to the complications, she found herself up in weight at 665 pounds.
That was in 2020.
Now, Slaton has found herself struggling with her health yet again.
She was hospitalized again, this time for pneumonia (viaStarcasm).
She believes she contracted the infection from carbon dioxide poisoning.
Thankfully, she is on the mend.
This is not the first time this year Slaton has found herself in the hospital.
However, it seems Slaton is getting better and will be released soon.
